What Do We Do

Global Christian Life Center began as Assemblies of God International Fellowship on 3rd October 1982, mainly for the English speaking Pentecostal community as there were no services available in English in Delhi.Rev and Mrs Doyle Oliver were asked to provide leadership to this new formed fellowship. It began at B-17 Geetanjali Enclave and moved through several locations, including Defence Colony, Connaught Place, South Extension, a couple of city auditoriums to the current meeting place at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Along the way Central Assembly of God Church changed its name to Global Christian Life Centre (GCLC).

The church has rapidly grown from its initial six members into several ministries including Missions, Children’s Sunday School, Youth, Men’s, Women’s, Hindi Fellowship, African Fellowship.

Sunday School

This is an opportunity for your children to learn about Jesus through appropriate Bible study material and the Sunday school curriculum, along with singing beautiful choruses and doing fun activities. It is a wonderful way of reaching out and teaching the young about Christ, and caring for them spiritually. The children learn about the Bible and are schooled about Christian values.

Children’s Ministry exists to lead women in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We are friends: old friends making new friends, always allowing the circle to grow wider. We are sisters: accepting one another and challenging each other to grow in our faith.

G.A.N.G

We are proud of a vibrant group of young people passionate for God. We call them G.A.N.G. which stands for God Aspiring New Generation. G.A.N.G organizes a yearly retreat away from Delhi which is a much talked about event. They also participate in evangelistic events.

 Itis the best place to express yourself and showcase your talents. You will connect with like-minded teens who share similar passions and interests and are currently on the hunt for a talented person like you! Join us on the second Saturday of every month in the Kids’ Church to experience a service like none other. Your mind will find peace, your heart will find lasting friendships and your soul will find its home.

Mens Fellowship

The Men’s Ministry is a place for the MEN of the church to get together and provide resources and support one needs to help one live the life God meant for us to live. It is a place to MENtor and provide moMENtum to men to actively seek God’s purpose and power in their lives.

Womens Fellowship

Women’s Fellowship is a Prayer/Bible Study, dedicated to glorifying God by bringing women into a more intimate relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior through the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Prayer and praise, meditation, study of the Scriptures and loving fellowship. Here you will find women who are Godly and prayerful and they sure will be a great help in your journey of faith.

Our aim is to unite the women of the church and equip them for Christian witness and make them to be part of all the programmes of the church, strive to bring the women at all levels in close contact with each other, share their experiences and learn from each other to be effective witnesses in the community and society at large.

Life Connection

Life Connections is the weekly Bible study to facilitate deeper understanding of God’s Word in smaller settings. The vision of Life Connections is to CONNECT –Connect people to God, Connect people to one another and Connect to the lost souls.

We believe that the Lord has called the Church to grow larger but also smaller at the same time

Your spiritual life – my spiritual life won’t amount to anything if it’s disconnected from the body of Christ; the family of God.  If I cut off one of my fingers, not only is it not going to grow; it’s not going to live.  It has to be connected to the body.
